Raja Pemaisuri Bainun Bridge or Sungai Dinding Bridge is the second longest river bridge in Malaysia before Sungai Johor Bridge in Johor (opened on 10 June 2011). It is located in Dinding River on Dinding Bypass (Federal Route ) near Lumut, Perak. The total length of the bridge is 1.5 km (1.246 m). Its 13 arches represent states in Malaysia.

History

Constructed began in 1997 by the Public Works Department Malaysia (JKR) and HMS Perunding Sdn Bhd. and was completed in 2000. It was officially opened on 30 April 2001 by the Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah and the bridge was officially named Jambatan Raja Pemaisuri Bainun after Tuanku Bainun of Perak.
